This video is from my Regional English Camp where the students had to create a club activity. My class theme was Drama, so the students decided to combine two famous movies, The Avengers & The Titanic. I wrote the script as there wouldn’t be enough time for the students to write the script themselves because they spent the first 2 hours of the week creating such an amazing idea.
I am beyond proud of my students. They owned this production. They practiced unbelievably hard. They memorized their lines without being asked to do so. I have to post about this camp soon, but I will say that this was the most amazing week of my time in Korea. The students (11) and co-teachers (myself and a Korean teacher) immediately clicked. I cried at the conclusion of the camp, parents gave me hugs, students gave me thank you gifts, but the most amazing part was when we put our hands together as a team and broke with “CLASS TWO!!!”
This experience, my students, and my co-teacher have left me indelibly changed.
